Coatings (Ni, Epoxy, Zn) & Corrosion Resistance
Neodymium magnets, including Grade N52, are made from a sintered NdFeB alloy that is naturally brittle and prone to oxidation. Without surface protection, the magnet can rust or lose performance when exposed to moisture, humidity, or salt spray.
To prevent corrosion and extend service life, N52 magnets are always coated or plated with a protective layer.

Great Choice For Many Applications.
They have a high (BH)max value, which means they have an extremely strong magnetic field strength. This makes them ideal for use in devices where you need to hold something in place with a strong adhesive force. Because of their high magnetic field strength, N52 magnets are also great for preventing wear and tear on motors and other moving parts.
But just because they have a high (BH)max value doesn’t mean that they’re the best option for every application. If you’re trying to make something don’t need high magnetic strength, you might want to choose another magnet grade—like N35 or even N45—because those grades have lower magnetic strength than N52 does.
N52 Neodymium Magnets Are Widely Used In Many Industries
Magnetic Coupling
The magnetic couplings are permanent-magnetic couplings transmitting the torque without contact through magnetic forces between two magnetic rotors(with magnets on there). Therefore, the magnetic strength of the coupling magnet becomes the key. And N52 is the best chocie.
Magnetic Crawlers
A magnetic crawler is a device designed to move across the surface of a material using the force of magnetism. It consists of a motor, a big neodymium magnet (in most cases, that is N52), and a flexible belt that moves over the surface of the material.

Medical Equipment
The Grade N52 neodymium magnet is a medical-grade magnet that can be used in a variety of applications. These include use in surgical instruments, medical implants, and other types of devices that require strong magnetic forces. Most micro neodymium magnets in minimally invasive surgery are N52.
