Maximum operating temperature of the magnets is between 80°C and 100°C. Exposure to temperatures above these maximum limits may lead to loss of magnetic coercivity.
Store and use magnets in a cool environment to prevent demagnetisation.
External nickel plating will combat corrosion of the magnet. For further protection, apply a protective coating of adhesive sealant or similar to all exposed areas.
Although plating discolouration may occur over time, this does not affect the quality of the magnet.
Rare Earth magnets will gradually suffer diminished coercivity if subjected to repeated mechanical shock, or excess temperatures.
